Experience Human Flight

Flying in wind tunnels is a great way to experience the physics of freefall in a more controlled environment (read: regardless of weather conditions).

Skydivers and novices alike enjoy ‘doing tunnel’. For skydivers, it’s also a useful tool to learn to fly their bodies and be better skydivers.

Most skydivers love tunnel flying but know it couldn’t replace the sensations and elation of real skydiving.

Fly with us

Ask Me About Skydiving offers a range of wind tunnel ‘fly and learn’ packages, aimed those who’ve not flown before and at those who are about to undertake their AFF solo skydiving courses.

We also hold regular fun events for more experienced skydivers – ‘Dynamic Six’ – which are fun and challenging. If you want to find out more about these, check out our Facebook group.

Wind tunnel is a great way to practice your stable freefall position and the movements you need to master to gain your licence, without the pressure of impending deployment time. In terms of £s per minute of ‘freefall’, it is also much cheaper than skydiving.

Where can you do indoor skydiving?

There are currently four wind tunnels in the UK (and many rumours of more being built). This means we are country with one of the highest numbers of wind tunnels per square mile. Some people drive whole days or fly to get to wind tunnels!

The UK’s current operating tunnels are located in Manchester, Bedford, Milton Keynes, and Basingstoke. We have varying availability across the different tunnels, when you book, you will be sent the availability for your chosen tunnels or all of them, depending on your checkout selections.
